In her pursuit of a space that mirrored her passion for hair and beauty, salon owner Katy searched tirelessly for the perfect location after spending 15 years working in the nearby town of Royston. When she laid eyes on the building that would become Niche, she knew instantly it was meant to be. After undergoing an extensive renovation, Niche opened its doors in August 2022 in the haven of the Cambridge countryside.

Our team comprises of 6 skilled self-employed hairdressers and nail technician, each boasting over 10 years of expertise. From the moment you step into our inclusive salon untill you leave, we're dedicated to ensuring your comfort and confidence.

At Niche, we cater all aspectes of hairdressing, priding ourselves on an enjoyable calming salon experience.

Specialising in colour, particularly blonde and balayage, we prioritise the use of top-tier products to maintain healthy, nourished hair without compromise.

Alongside our hair services, Tamara offers specialist beauty treatments including brows, lash lifts, gel manicures and pedicures, as well as luxury Elim pedicures.

We are proud to work alongside Tiffany from Cambridge curls (@cambridgecurls), a highly trained curly hair specialist who offers expert curly cuts tailored to all curly types and textures. Tiffanys specialist training and deep understanding of curly hair ensures every client receives a truly personalised experience.
